With over 24 years of experience in the fitness industry, Kelly’s journey began as a dedicated personal trainer and evolved into a passion for helping people move, feel, and live better. After earning her Sports Therapy Degree from the University of Hertfordshire in 2014, Kelly developed a keen interest in supporting those with chronic neurological conditions, inspiring her to qualify as a physiotherapist.
Kelly’s broad expertise in health and exercise prescription means she excels in injury assessment, frailty management, and GP referrals. As an HCPC-registered professional and proud member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Kelly upholds the highest standards of care and professionalism in every session.
Working from a welcoming, family-run gym, Kelly offers a personalised approach-using a wide range of equipment without the crowds of a large gym. She tailors every treatment programme to your unique goals, ensuring you receive the expert support you need in a friendly, supportive environment
Assessment and treatment are at the heart of physiotherapy, ensuring care is truly personalised and holistic. A thorough assessment involves understanding your medical history, current symptoms, lifestyle, and goals, as well as a detailed physical examination to assess movement, strength, posture, and function. This comprehensive approach allows Kelly to identify the root cause of your concerns-not just treat the symptoms-so your treatment plan is tailored to your unique needs and supports long-term recovery and health.
You’ll receive a bespoke programme, with exercises accessible on your phone, tablet, or computer, complete with videos to help you check your technique. If you prefer, you can also have a printed copy. Kelly will monitor your progress remotely, so you’re supported every step of the way.
Depending on your needs, further treatments may include sports massage, joint mobilisations, EFS and TENS, or ultrasound therapy, all chosen to best support your recovery and overall wellbeing.
Enhanced joint range of motion, improved flexibility, and reduced muscle tension are key benefits of sports massage. Kelly offers sports massage either as part of your personalised treatment plan or as a standalone session, lasting between 30 to 45 minutes depending on your individual needs.
Sports massage works by manipulating muscles, tendons, and ligaments to release tension, improve circulation, and promote the removal of waste products like lactic acid, which supports faster recovery and reduces the risk of injury. It can also help prepare your body before activity and aid recovery afterward, making it ideal for athletes and active individuals alike.
In addition to physical benefits, sports massage can enhance relaxation, reduce stress, and support mental readiness for training or competition. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing muscle tightness, or aiming to boost your flexibility and performance, Kelly’s tailored sports massage sessions provide expert care to help you move better and feel stronger.
